First freshening udder
Blanche is another wonderful Lizzie daughter. She gave birth to triplets as a yearling first freshener in 2015 and triplet does as a second and third freshener. Although we are no longer on milk test, we do keep extensive milk records in Excel. In 2017, we decided to keep track of the weight gain of the kids, and Blanche’s triplet girls gained weight faster than any other doe’s, meaning she was one of the top producers, if not the top.
