Like Carmen her dam, Lizzie was slower to mature and hit her stride, but she just keeps getting better every year, and in 2011 was the second highest producer in the herd. She has a well attached udder with a high rear but could have a smoother fore udder and longer teats. Also like her dam, Lizzie has excellent resistance to internal parasites. As a junior kid and a dry yearling she did wonderfully in the show ring, never disappointing us. She earned her junior leg with AGS.
Lizzie earned her one-day milk star in 2009, just one day before her fourth birthday. Her score was 37.66 (35 minimum required to earn star). In 2010, Lizzie classified as a VG with a score of 87.5. In 2011, Lizzie milked 5 pounds on a one-day milk test, earning her a score of 59.16, which was high enough to earn her Top Ten status with AGS in milk production, overall score, and protein!
This line, which begins back with Lizzie's granddam, Dream Acres Flash Dancer, is one we are very happy with. It consistently produces good, show-quality animals, with easily milked, well-producing, beautifully shaped udders. Lizzie's daughter is Bonnie, who earned her one-day milk star as a two year old.
Lizzie's kids are named after outlaws.
